Amenities
The Barn is here for you to enjoy. To keep it in its present state please follow the guidelines below.

Please no not place drinks on the oak furniture or window sills, as these surfaces will be damaged by anything hot or wet.
​
The barn is strictly no smoking, if you wish to smoke please do so on the patio and collent any cigarete buts when leaving.
​
Please secure the patio doors with clips provided when open and take care when opening and closing doors not to trap fingers.
​
Please be green and turn off all lights when leaving the barn
Check in & Out
To ensure the Barn is cleaned thoroughly between guests we sadly cannot offer flexible check in/out.

Check in : 4pm onwards
Check out : by 10am
​
Check out : Please leave the barn as you found it. All waste to be placed in the bins at the end of the drive. Recycling in the big green bin, food in the small green bin and all other waste in the big black bin.
​
Please remember to empty the fridge and place any remaining dirty crockery in the dishwasher and set it off.
​
On departure please close the barn, leaving the keys on the table.
WIFI
The Barn has wifi throughout, the password can be found on the back of the router in the kitchen. There is also an ethernet cable in the office.
If you have any issues, please message Kay and do not reset the WIFI yourself.
TV
Turn the TV on with the Black controler using the red button. Pres AV button and use the arrows to go to HTMI 2 for sky
SKY: Use the sky remote to control sky.
Please do not switch the tv or sky at the wall, if this happens please allow 5 minutes for sky to reboot.
Kitchen
The hob has heat sensitive controls. If for any reason you turn off the fan oven at the mains (large red switch next to the microwave), it will need to be reset. This is done by pressing all buttons below the clock display at once. The User manuals for the oven and hob can be found in the green folder.
The Farm
Please feel free to explore the walled garden and the area to the left of the drive. Please check with Kay before entering the fenced fields as horses could be grazing. Access is not permitted to the right of the drive or the stables.

Trampoline & Walled garden
The Walled Garden the the Trampoline are provided for your enjoyment, but children must be supervised at all times when outside the barn as there are wells in the walled garden and a stream around the farm which may be dangerous. Use of these facilities are at your own risk.
Heating
The Barn has underfloor heating throughout, controlled by a thermostat in each room. The floor will take upto a day to change temperature so please do not change the temperature by more than one degree per day. Maximum temperature should not exceed 20 degrees.

The barn has constant hot water between 5am - 10pm.
Please only burn wood and kindling in the wood burner and ensure you lock the door properly if unattended.
​
Utility room
Washing Machine with inbuilt dryer is located in the Utility room; there is also a line air dryer which is highly effective.
There is also fridge freezer in there which you are welcome to use.
Please do not take the key out of this door.
